Automotive Sales Consultant
**Job Summary:**
Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Sales Consultant at our Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealerships. As a critical member of our sales force, you will establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, guide them through the vehicle purchasing process, and ensure an exceptional buying experience. **Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Engagement:**
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, building rapport and trust.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand customers' preferences and requirements.
- Showcase the features and benefits of Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles.
2. **Product Knowledge:**
- Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive industry trends, technologies, and product offerings.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of vehicle specifications, features, and performance capabilities.
- Provide detailed explanations of financing and leasing options.
3. **Sales Process:**
- Guide customers through the sales process, from vehicle selection to test drives and finalizing the sale.
- Effectively negotiate pricing, terms, and financing options to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with the finance and insurance departments to ensure smooth transactions.
4. **Customer Follow-Up:**
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to address post-purchase inquiries and foster long-term relationships.
- Seek opportunities for additional sales, including accessories, service plans, and upgrades.
5. **Sales Targets:**
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets and objectives.
- Participate in sales training programs to enhance skills and product knowledge.
6. **Team Collaboration:**
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including sales managers and support staff, to achieve overall dealership goals.
- Share market insights and customer feedback to contribute to improving sales strategies.
**Requirements:**
- Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
